To protest against the ongoing violence against women, Mainia Youth Forum observed a human chain at the National Press Club in Dhaka on 10th October, 2020.
The human chain was presided over by Shahzada Syed Mashuk Mainuddin Al Hasani, executive president of Mainia Youth Forum. In his speech he said that, young generation going far away from ethical values, teaching of holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihe Wasallam). Social deterioration can be resisted only by the proper practice of self purification.
Sufism teaches us to refrain from all kind of anarchy, violence & bad deeds. So its important to preach the ideology of Sufism in every sphere of our country. Specially youth need to be guided towards right direction, they need to be encouraged to work for human welfare & betterment of Bangladesh.
He added that, since 2013 Mainia Youth Forum has been working for protecting the rights of women. It will always work as a vanguard of our mothers-sisters to keep them safe from all kind of brutality.
Shahzada Syed Mashuk Mainuddin Al Hasani ueged the government to amend current law on rape & introduce death penalty for those who do heinous crime like rape.
Shah Md. Aslam Hussein, general secretary of Mainia Youth Forum, Md. Kamruzzaman Harun, organisational secretary of Mainia Youth Forum and other leaders and members from Anjuman-e-Rahmania Mainia Maizbhandaria & Mainia Youth Forum took part in the protest.
